Inside Account Manager-industrial parts

Territory: Province of Quebec
Work place: Montréal
 
Salary: $50,000.00 to $60,000.00
Monthly commissions + bonus: $0.00
Quarterly commissions + bonus: $0.00
Annual commissions + bonus: $5,000.00
Car allowance: All travel related expenses reimbursed
Public relations expenses: All travel related expenses reimbursed

Company profile
Our global client is the manufacturer of industrial parts used by manufacturers in the aerospace, marine, automobile and oil and gas industry. The inside account manager's role is to assist with order taking, support the outside sales reps and follow up on orders. You will be responsible for supporting 100 accounts, 80% of which are major accounts. This is the entry job for an outside sales rep position.

Training: 3 month training program onsite in one of their US/Toronto offices. You will be flown back home on week ends.
 
Requirements
 
Academic: Minimum college degree needed preferably technical
# years of experience: Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role
Language: Bilingualism, both French & English (written & spoken)
Transferable contacts: N/A
Transferable knowledge: Ability to multi-task *Must be comfortable using computer tools available *Must be curious and willing to learn
Travel (time): After initial training, very little overnight travel
Other: Must be willing to learn *Strong communication skills *Strong problem solving skills *Very customer service oriented *Strong computer skills, they are a JD Edwards and SAP shop *Must be able to travel to the US *Must pass a criminal and credit check

Other 1: Assist sales representatives to increase sales *Respond to customer requests for quotations
Other 2: Prepare, review and submit sales quotations *Provides assistant in the day to day running of the accounts

Other 4: Make follow calls to customers and internally to follow orders *Provide problem solving for unresolved customer issues
