Sales Representative, Building & Construction Materials

Territory: Montreal or Quebec city
Work place: Montréal
 
Salary: $40,000.00 to $50,000.00
Monthly commissions + bonus: $5,000.00
Quarterly commissions + bonus: $0.00
Annual commissions + bonus: $0.00
Car allowance: 600$/month + gas allowance
Public relations expenses: All resonable expenses will be reimbursed

Our client designs, manufactures and sells construction materials. They have been in business for over 20 years and sell to the A&D (Architects and Designers) community, builders, and contractors

Training: *On the job training provided but must have previous experience
 
Requirements
 
Academic: * College degree or equivalent experience
# years of experience: *10 years of relevant sales experience in the building & construction materials industry * No more than 2 jobs (with different companies) in the last 5 years
Language: Bilingualism, both French & English (written & spoken)
Transferable contacts: * Knowledge of architects and engineering firms * Knowledge of contractors
Transferable knowledge: * We are looking for a dynamic sales person who is motivated by dealing with architects and engineers * Extensive experience in opening new doors and business development
Travel (time): * Very little overnight travel
Other: * Excellent planning and time management * Results driven – Desire to succeed and work independently * Strong customer orientation * Able to develop, communicate and effectively implement strategic concepts

Development vs maintenance (%): 70% vs. 30%
Road vs Office: 70% vs. 30%
Other 1: * Represent company products to targetted clients and maintain excellent business relationships within your territory * Ensure adherance to the distribution channels within your territory * Promote company products to architects, general contractors, developpers, distributors and other decision makers of construction materials
Other 2: * Exhibit personal drive to succeed and grow your territory * Deligent and regular use of company CRM
Other 3: * Willingness to receive coaching and guidance from managers and peers * Participate in regular funnnel reviews
Other 4: * Ensure product specification for projects within A&D communities, contractors, general contractors, developpers, distributors and other decision makers of construction materials * Able to develop, communicate and effectively implement strategic concepts
