Company profile
Our client is an innovative creator of software destined to the engineering community. They are in need of a marketing manager who is hands on, has experience in sales and who has experience in marketing software. You will not be managing people but will access to internal resources. You should be a hands on marketing manager who is innovative but will also uses matrices to evalute your work.You know how to and enjoy working with sales to put together programs. You will also have input and work on the website.

Requirements
 
Academic: Bachelor's degree preferable but comparable work experience will be considered
# years of experience: 5 years of relevant experience needed
Language: Bilingualism, both French & English (written & spoken)
Transferable contacts: N/A
Transferable knowledge: Software sales/marketing experience is a must *Excellent spoken and written English needed *Has supported sales efforts in a previous marketing role *Strong project management skills
Travel (time): Very little overnight travel required
Other: Has a "roll up the sleeves" approach to marketing *Has worked closely with sales in a previous position *A technical background would be an asset

Other 1: Define, plan and manage the execution of complex projects and initiatives to generate leads *Evaluate the ROI on each project we undertake *Establish matricies and goals and analyze profitability
Other 2: Report on the results of marketing initiatives and analyze effectiveness for future projects; assess lessons learned and improve project delivery *Track and communicate project progress; keep project teams and stakeholders well-informed
Other 3: Manage simultaneous projects *Lead cross-functional teams to deliver projects in achievable timelines
Other 4: Utilize and manage consultants, such as copy-writers and designers *Question priorities and business cases and validate project decision-making
