Sales Manager for On premise; dual role

Territory: Montreal and surroundings
Work place: Montréal
 
Salary: $75,000.00 to $85,000.00
Monthly commissions + bonus: $0.00
Quarterly commissions + bonus: $0.00
Annual commissions + bonus: $17,000.00
Car allowance: Company car and gas card provided
Public relations expenses: All company expenses reimbursed

Company profile
Our client is the producer of wines and spirits and in search of a sales manager for on premise sales. This is a dual role where you will manage a small team and manage key accounts in the Montreal area. You must have flexibility to accommodate customer promotions after hours Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings.

Requirements
 
Academic: Bachelor's degree would be an asset
# years of experience: At least 3 years sales management experience needed
Language: Bilingualism, both French & English (written & spoken)
Transferable contacts: N/A
Transferable knowledge: Knowledge of on premise consumer product sales process Previous experience and knowledge of Quebec-based major accounts
Travel (time): Less than 15% overnight travel
Other: Previous success managing sales representatives to forecast *Strong interpersonal skills with success building strong customer relationships *Self motivated and self directed *Strong time management and organization skills with attention to detail and accuracy
 
Function
 
Development vs maintenance (%): 50% vs 50%
Road vs Office: 80% vs 20%
Other 1: Promotes and increases sales within territory through aggressive execution of National and Regional marketing strategies while working with company policies, resources and budgets *Manages the Chain Account portfolio (including budgets, market promotion calendars etc.)
Other 2: Partner with Sales Analysts for post evaluation of executed plans and strategies for Key Accounts *Gather and communicate market intelligence to customer and company
Other 3: Leverage consumer and customer insights to develop competitive advantage with key customers *Manages new product launches in on-premise accounts
Other 4: Manages advertising and promotional budget within fiscal allocations as outlined by regional office *Functions cooperatively and effectively within the team environment * Develops and monitors individuals’ sales objectives and ensures staff are building strong relationships with key licensee accounts
