Monthly commissions + bonus: $0.00

Company profile
Our client is a manufacturer of electronic components. This person will be responsible for inside sales, outside sales customer service and marketing.The team is performing well on the marketing and customer service side but needs help on the sales side. The sales and marketing manager is needed to help asses, train and coach sales people to sell direct to end users. We are looking for someone who will help the sales people sell applications. This position sells primarily to the U.S market and reps sell direct to key accounts and distributors sell to other customers. You must be based in either Chicago, Boston or Philadelphia.

Requirements
 
Academic: Bachelor's degree in either Electrical, Physics, Mechanical , Mettalurgical engineering or posseses business degree and you have a high degree of understanding for technical
# years of experience: 8 to 10 years sales management experience
Language: Excellent spoken and Written English
Transferable contacts: N/A
Transferable knowledge: Extensive knowledge of marketing in electrical and electronic component industry and industrial component sales. * Excellent knowledge of PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel and Word computer skills are required. * Proficient in ERP Systems and programs
Travel (time): 30% to 50% overnight travel required

Other 1: Create and maintain revenue growth plan for markets served by our product lines. * Enhance sales & business development effectiveness through setting up and driving appropriate marketing strategies. * Prospect and qualify new business opportunities and programs to grow customer base in the North American market.
Other 2: Provide detailed sales plans focusing on defining the scope of the opportunity, product strategies while timing deliverables and profitability. * Grow revenues through existing client base and new account development. * If and where required, select and evaluate external Sales Representation organizations within a geographic territory. *Align strategic plans with engineering for the development of new products based on Market requirements, including custom design applications and new product introductions
Other 3: Oversee and manage Sales Representatives and Distribution. * Develop strategic intelligence network channels and distribution to keep abreast of new product development activity, market trends, pricing alternatives and changes * Actively engage in the Sales & Operations planning Process to drive superior service results for our customers
Other 4: Enhance sales & business development effectiveness through setting up and driving appropriate marketing strategies. * Drive and elaborate marketing plans to support revenue growth plan. * Produce product support literature and advertisements
