Our client manufactures laboratory equipment that is sold worldwide to universities, labs and pharmaceutical companies. They are in search for a Channel Sales and Marketing Manager who is a real team player and able to wear many hats. Your role consists of managing the distribution network worldwide, managing a direct sales team, marketing and direct sales to top customers. Consider yourself a player/coach. You have a unique ability to influence company strategy, have a voice that is heard and report directly to the President.

Requirements
Academic: *An interdisciplinary education that combines Life Sciences and Technology and includes a university degree in Engineering, Physiology or a related discipline *An MBA would be an asset *Graduate Degrees in Biomedical Engineering and/or the Life Sciences would be an asset
# years of experience: *3-5 years of experience in technical sales & marketing
Language: *Excellent English language skills (written & spoken) *Fluency in French, written and spoken an asset *Other spoken languages an asset
Transferable contacts: N/A
Transferable knowledge: *Knowledge and experience working with an international distribution network is an asset
Travel (time): *10% overnight travel

Other 1: *Manage and train distributors who are located internationally-offer assitance to them with their customers *Lead and manage a small sales team located in Canada and the US
Other 2: *Establish and tweak marketing initiatives *Establish and develop relationships with our North-American customer base
Other 3: *Work on and work with corporate identity and brands, you coordinate the promotion of our products via printed and electronic media *Analyze and act on sales reports
Other 4: *Attend trade shows and international scientific conventions *Works hand in hand with other managers and teams, you participate in placing and launching new products and exploring business development opportunities
