Our client is a manufacturer of cable and wire and is looking for a Channel Manager to sell to OEMs, drive business to distributors and support the distribution network in Canada, the US and some South America. You will spend 80% of your time driving new business. You are there to add value to your distributors by finding opportunities and working with them to develop them. You are driven and want to grow within the company.

Functions:

Develop sales opportunities with end users ie OEM's -Develop sales opportunities and work in conjunction with your distributors to develop them
Analyze your market potential and develop a plan to maximize your opportunities -Ensure that our products are spec'd in with OEM's
Negotiate contracts and agreements with a win-win attitude -Meet face to face with customers and distributors most of your time
Represent the company at tradeshows and events -Ensure that our products are top of mind with distributors by providing training and being present

Job Requirements:

Academic Bachelor's degree in business administration or engineering or equivalent
Languages Bilingualism, both French & English (written & spoken)
Experience 5 years of experience in a similar position
  Dynamic, action-oriented and passionate. -Strategic thinking with supporting results. -Effective communications and negotiations skills oriented towards problem solving. -Analytical business and technical skills. -Results and performance-oriented.
