Our client is a well-established industrial components distributor. We are looking for a Vice President of Sales who will manage a sales team responsible for selling to both new and established customers. You must have experience managing sales managers for this role. We are looking for a take-charge and committed indivdual.

Functions:

Ensure that proper account reviews are conducted with each sales individuals and their General Sales Manager and whenever possible with field participation and to ensure that all assigned activities are completed in a timely fashion.
Determine on a daily basis, which customers the sales individuals need to contact and review their call out sheets to insure quality compliance and feedback.
Proactively monitor and insure that all sales individuals have a fair, balanced and full customer base to maintain the highest level of efficiency and return for the corporation.
Execute on the corporate goals, strategies and initiatives
Attain or surpass the revenue budgets determined for their areas of responsibility by ensuring that all team members are contributing at the appropriate levels required.
Recruit, train, manage, coach, and motivate the team members and provide them with the tools and knowledge to be successful.
Participate with field sales management in the planning and execution of customer transition, growth and retention strategies.
Plan and manage internal communication and awareness of corporate directions and objectives.

Job Requirements:

Academic University degree: Bachelor’s in a business discipline is a must *An MBA would be an asset
Languages Bilingualism, both French & English (written & spoken) *Excellent written English
Experience Minimum 5 years relevant business and sales experience in a leadership capacity with a proven track record.
  You have demonstrated loyalty with your past employers ie not a "job jumper"
You posess a sense of urgency
