Our client is looking for a Vice President of sales to manage a national sales team in the pulp and paper industry. Your role will be to manage a team that sells across Canada, establish a business plan for each distinct market and execute on that plan. You will be evaluated on both top line and bottom line and your management style is one of collaboration and democracy; in other words, you support listen and look for win/win. You must come from the industry and must have had national sales responsibility.

Functions:

Ensures the development of Canadian customers and increases the volume of sales and our profitability -Works closely with senior management to ensure to meet the requirements and expectations of our customers
Is responsible for integrating all corporate objectives within your team -Determine, in conjunction with the executive team, the strategic direction of the sales team
Acts as the primary person responsible for sales and makes recommendations based on the company's orientation -Ensures the implementation of recommendations in your area or at the corporate level
Approves human resources requests, materials and financial matters with respect to sales -You will act as the company representative for all matters sales related

Job Requirements:

Academic Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Languages Bilingualism, both French & English (written & spoken)
Experience 10-15 years experience in a similar position
  Strong analytical mind, especially with numbers -Energetic -Critical thinker -Well-connected within the industry -Well respected within the industry -Not a job jumper
