Company Profile:

Our client is a major technology distributor and is looking for an inside sales representative to join their ranks. The representative will be selling IT product and services. Please note our client is keen on promoting from within.


Answer incoming calls from Reseller and Queue
Place outbound calls to Customer Base
Advise Resellers of appropriate Marketing programs applicable to their business needs
Determine, advise and recommend on product options, add-ons and solutions best suited for Customer and their end users
Provide Price and Availability information
Submit, track and monitor Bids and quotes from Customer Base
Follow-up and inform Sales Management/ Account Field Rep on sales leads
Leverage IM programs and provide appropriate solutions (Credit, Marketing, E-Com, Vendor Reps, Services, Meet-comp)
Maintain intermediate product knowledge appropriate for account base
Attend morning sales/vendor training and where appropriate, lunch and learns, vendor fairs, vendor and internal training sessions
Build and maintain strong customer relationships
Uncover new business opportunities within account base
Effectively investigate/escalate and resolve customer complaints and issues
Refer and follow-up on credit issues
Write reports outlining key business activities
Provide weekly and/or monthly sales forecasts

Job Requirements:

Academic *College Diploma or University
Languages Bilingualism, both French & English (written & spoken)
Experience 2-3 years as an inside sales rep or 12+ months as a rep on the road selling IT products and services
  Ability to manage customers, a high volume of customer activity all the while independently managing all projects in account base
Good sales and negotiation abilities
Sens of urgency
Ability to multi task and prioritize responsibilities with moderate supervision
