Company Profile:

Our client is a manufacturer of large scale high tech large scale industrial equipment. Their deals are sold worldwide and their deals range in size from $500k to $10-$15 million dollars. They are looking for an account manager who has sold large scale projects internationally. Some countries where they are either active or are looking for market share are China, Middle East, Africa and Russia. This is a Montreal based position.

Functions:

Gain complete understanding of products & services sold;
Identify key customers and establish relationship plans to grow the business;
Provide a professional and excellent level of customer service to existing and new customers
Prospect new customers through various selling techniques;
Establish contact with prospects and qualify potential buyers;
Establish and maintain an active local representatives network
Develop a positive ongoing relationship with customers / representatives to ensure thatthe company is exceeding expectations;
Forecast monthly sales targets, report on previous month’s achievements and identify future sales opportunities and trends;
Close sufficient sales to exceed sales plan objectives
Provide after sales customer support;
Write reports - sales potential, growth expectations, achievement, etc.;
Derive a marketing plan to meet sales objectives;
Coordinate and implement various sales and marketing programs in conjunction with company goals and objectives;
Attend trade shows and seminars to promote products or to learn about industry developments

Job Requirements:

Academic *Engineering or a Business Degree
Languages *Exceptional writing and speaking skills in English required, French an asset
Experience Minimum 5-7 years of experience in sales & marketing of technical products/systems
  A self-starter able to work with minimal supervision;
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously;
Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service;
Ability to create, compose, and edit written materials
