Job Description:

Profile: Our client is a real estate developer and is looking for a Marketing Director (newly created position) who will be responsible for supporting the VP marketing's strategies in developing and strengthening our brand, driving sales and maintaining our competitive intelligence.You will contribute to the management of the marketing team and will see through the completion of events. You will lead the implementation of the marketing strategy to support the company's objectives. You are very project oriented. You will manage 2 internal resources and the relationship with the external firm.

Territory: Canada and the U.S

Work Place: Downtown Montreal

Products/Services: Real estate services

Salary: $110,000-$140,000

Commissions/Bonus: Annual bonus TBD

Car allowance: N/A

  • Participates in strategic planning with the Vice President of Marketing
  • Responsible for project management, deadlines, resources and budgets  
  • Implements marketing strategies, tactics and programs by planning and facilitating activities to deliver meaningful results  
  • Ensures that marketing activities align with brand strategy, identify and realize cost-saving opportunities  
  • Assess and resolve problems that may arise during the mandate  
  • Applies appropriate and analytical measures in the preparation of standard reports to measure the effectiveness of programs  
  • Taking advantage of opportunities for a partnership solution  
  • Manages the activities of direct subordinates in order to ensure the timely achievement of departmental objectives, following regulatory policies, standard business procedures and practices

Development vs Maintenance: N/A

Road vs Office:10% vs 90%

Languages: Excellent written and spoken French and English

Education: Bachelor's degree in marketing preferred

Training: On the job

Overnight Travel: Very little overnight travel needed

Years’ of experience: 7 years in a similar position
