Job Description:

Profile: Our client is a manufacturer in the pulp and paper industry and is looking for a sales rep to manage and sell into Eastern/Midwest US and the provinces of Quebec and Ontario. Your role will be to sell and manage your customers from the sale to any customer service issues. You will be expected to be an integral part of the solution and get the necessary people internally involved. You own the process. You must be fluent in English and French, have sold into the  industrial market and have a good understanding of manufacturing industry.

Territory: Eastern US, Quebec and Ontario

Work Place: Montreal

Products/Services: Pulp and paper

Salary: $50 000 to $80 000

Commissions/Bonus: Max $10k

Car allowance: Car provided + gaz card

Expenses reimbursement: All business expenses will be reimbursed by the employer

Maintain and build business/customer relationships.

Must achieve predetermined sales goals at an acceptable margin

Generate quotations that satisfy customer and organizational requirements

Manage customer issues until issues/complaints are solved to customer satisfaction

Involve internal resources as need be to satisfy customers

Participate in select trade shows

Deliver a high level of service to your clients

Report and analyze your sales activity in conjunction with upper management

Develop, cultivate and manage the relationship with customers in the region

Maintain great relations with internal customers

Job Requirements:


Development vs Maintenance: 20% VS 80%

Road vs Office: 70% VS 30%

Languages: Spoken and written , English and  French

Education: College degree or equivalent work experience needed

Training: An intensive 2 month training program is provided where you will be expected to be at our plants to learn what we do

Overnight Travel: 1 to 2 weeks / month overnight

Years’ of experience: 5 years' work experience selling in the industrial market

You are excellent in forging relationships with your external customers and with your internal customers
You understand how to own and solve customer issues
