Job Description:

Profile: Our client is a manufacturer of vehicle accessories and is looking to hire a sales manager to lead a team of account managers. Your role is to guide your account managers, be the voice for the major clients and provide a growth strategy for the region.

Territory: Quebec and the Maritimes

Work Place: Laval

Products/Services: Vehicle accessories

Salary: Base $80,000- $100,000

Commissions/Bonus: $20,000 yearly

Car allowance: $1,000/month + gas card

Expenses reimbursement: All reasonable expenses reimbursed

Provide solid leadership by providing your vision of the business

Create and execute on your business plans with your major clients

Assist Account Managers in developing their business plans

Provide a tactical plan to increase wallet share on a per client basis

Generate profitable business

Create partnerships with our channels ie car dealerships etc

Actively work with your team in their territory

Play an active role with major clients

Job Requirements:


Development vs Maintenance: 50% vs 50%

Road vs Office: 60% vs 40%

Languages: French and English (written and spoken)

Education: Bachelor's degree required

Training: On the job training provided

Overnight Travel: Up to 10% overnight travel

Years’ of experience: 5 years' in b2b sales and 3 years' sales management both in strategic roles

Other requirements:  

  • Must be able to adapt to the client
  • Both entrepreneurial and "intrapreneurial "in nature
  • Strong background in using tools such as  a CRM and reports to manage the business

Transferable contacts:

  • Experience in retail distribution and wholesale networks is a must

Transferable Knowledge:  

  • Demonstrated strong leadership skills is a must
  • Strong vision and experience developing others
