Job Description:

Profile: Our client offers specialized transportation services and is looking for an inside  sales representative to join his team. This is an existing account management  position. As each client is unique and what we offer them is unique, it needs an inside sales person who  is creative in their problem solving and customer service skills. You will need to be able to work with a minimum of  supervision.

Territory: Open territory

Work Place: Montreal

Products/Services: Specialized transport and brokerage services

Salary: $40 000

Commissions/Bonus: Depending on the experience and knowledges

Answer inbound calls

Follow-up on quotation requests

Retain existing customer base

Analysis and identification of customer needs

Writing of quotes and transport plans

Proposed  transportation business solutions

Customer service

Project and Operations Management as required

Ensure the satisfaction of existing customers

Job Requirements:


Development vs Maintenance: 0% VS 100%

Road vs Office: 0% VS 100%

Languages: French and English (written and spoken) is a must

Education: Collegial degree is an asset

Training: Full training will be provided by the employer

Overnight Travel: N/A

Years’ of experience: Two (2) years experience in internal sales (experience in the transportation industry is an asset)

Other requirements:

Great communication skills on the phone

Ability to work with a minimum of  supervision

Organized, disciplined, demonstrates ethics at work

Experience in customer service management

Transferable Knowledge:

Knowledge of the transportation and trucking industry

Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
