Job Description:

Profile: Our client offers  brokerage and complete transportation services in Canada/United States. A growing company which seeks to develop new markets by hiring a business development representative for their brokerage service. We are definitely looking for someone with experience in the industry to develop their contacts..

Territory: Open territory

Work Place: West Island or work from home

Products/Services: Brokerage and transport services

Salary: $35 000 to $80 000

Commissions/Bonus: 5% on growth

Car allowance: Will be discussed

Expenses reimbursement: All reasonable expenses will be reimbursed

Prospecting and development of new clients and markets in the brokerage sector

Customer loyalty

Analysis and identification of customer needs

Provide quotes

Proposed transportation business solutions

Job Requirements:


Development vs Maintenance: 1000% VS 0%

Road vs Office: 50% VS 50%

Languages: Both French and English

Education: College degree

Training: On-the-job training

Overnight Travel: If required

Years’ of experience: At least 5 years in the brokerage

Other requirements:

Ability to negotiate and skilled communicator

Organized, disciplined, ethical at work

Excellent "customer" attitude

Experience in customer service

Transferable contacts: Contact in the industry is a must

Transferable Knowledge: C-TPAT certified is an asset
