They service both the do it yourself market and the industrial market.

Functions:

Reports to: National Sales Manager Supervises: Territory Sales Managers, Application Specialists, Demonstrators (5 people) To effectively grow the sales and profitability in line with prescribed targets of the assigned brands within the industrial Accounts, and the hybrid “retail” accounts as prescribed within the Industrial channel. Manages the regional costs, expenses and budgets with diligence, within the set parameters. Seeks new opportunities for growth and expansion of the customer base with the acquisition of new accounts.
To meet or exceed the revenue targets set by the National Sales Manager (all brands).
To be instrumental in the forming of Strategies and Plans for the prescribed accounts, as discussed with the National Sales Manager.
Manages and coordinates the activities of the sales force implementing the agreed strategies, quotas, policies, ethos and culture of the Division.
Counsel, advise, support and motivate the team through dialogue and written communication.
Assists in the recruitment, selection, motivation and training of Territory Sales Managers.
To review and observe the weekly call planning and reports. To check for synergy in plan vs. actual call cycles.
To identify, document and manage the issues of competitor’s threats and trends. To offer retort, and action, to offset those threats in a timely and diligent manner.
Monitors salesmen’s Weekly/Monthly Reports. Be customer facing in the delivery of sales strategies, brand offering and account management of prescribed accounts. To establish, develop and optimise the business relationship with key dealers (existing) and develop new opportunities with new prospects.
To organize Trade Events, and ensure attendance and support as deemed appropriate, from the Regional resource.
To adopt essential housekeeping principles: - E mails to be noted and responded to within 48 hours - Phone calls to be acknowledged within the same or next working day - Reports and actions to be followed by due dates - To report on a monthly basis, the activities for the preceding month, within five days of the month end
To work with and support Business Development Manager in respect of local tactical branch support of those key accounts managed by the Business Development Manager.
Identifies markets for present and new products.
Distribution analysis and strategies, signing/deleting of customer accounts.
Provide sales forecasts by customer / product line as required for business plan development.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

Academic College degree
Languages Excellent English and French written and verbal skills.
Experience Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar position of management of a sales team.
Minimum of 5 years experience in industrial B2B sales.
Experience in selling value-added product.

Benefits:

Full benefits package Pension plan Home office (based in Quebec or Montreal) Commissions paid quarterly, for a total of 16,000$ if you reach objectives at 100% and possibility to make a total of 30,000$ if you overachieve.
