Company Profile:

Our client is a producer of chemicals destined for the mining industry. Due to expansion and growth , they seek to hire an Account Manager for the province of Quebec. You will also have to deal with head offices in both Toronto and Vancouver and some international business. You will be tasked with taking care of their base of customers as well as developing new ones.( Please provide and English resume)


Handle all sales activities for the company and meet the sales targets as approved by the VP Marketing & Sales
Present regular reports on sales functions to the VP Marketing & Sales.
Monitor account aging records, and coordinate collection efforts as required with the VP Marketing & Sales and Controller
Build and maintain excellent relations with customers and prospective accounts within the gold mining industry.
Build and maintain excellent relations with the head offices of the key accounts and build strong corporate contacts.
Report on competitive activity and identify new market opportunities.
Strengthen our position as the premiere supplier in Canada, with a focus on financial performance
Prepare annual sales forecasts and annual expense budgets for submission to the VP Marketing & Sales. Present monthly reports
Maintain records by customer to guide the extent of services and entertainment afforded to each customer and prospect.

Job Requirements:

Academic Bachelor’s degree in Business or an accredited diploma preferred
Languages Bilingualism, both French & English (written & spoken)
Experience Minimum of 4-6 years of sales experience – preferable to the mining industry
  Sound and detailed background in sales and business administration to be able to establish and adhere to a responsible budget for the sales and marketing functions
Team work capabilities to effectively interact with the other managers and personnel
Ability to manage major accounts to achieve sales volume and profitability goals
Must have a safe driving record
