Job Description:


Our client is a distributor of industrial supplies and maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) supplies. We are looking for a territory manager who will systematically meet all clients in the territory and develop new ones. You will be proactive, energetic, willing to learn and will manage the territory as your own business.

Territory: Quebec, New Brunswick and Northern Ontario

Work Place: Home office

Products/Services:Industrial supplies, MRO

Salary:$55,000 to $75,000 (based on experience)

Yearly commissions:$25,000 at quota

Car allowance:Car provided (for work use only)

Expenses reimbursement:All business expenses reimbursed

Manage sales activities for specific assigned territory

Proactively visit existing and prospective clients

Responds to requests, inquires and complaints and ensures maximum good will from all transactions

Analyzes market statistics to develop sales campaigns and create sales quotas

Ability to react to last-minute client requests

Responsible for negotiating and implementing agreements

Prepares weekly and monthly reports for management and customers

Establishes sales objectives by creating a sales plan and quota for districts in support of national objectives

Recommends product lines by identifying new product opportunities, and/or product, packaging, and service changes; surveying consumer needs and trends; tracking competitors

Job Requirements:


Development vs Maintenance:40% vs 60%

Road vs Office:80% vs 20%

Languages:Bilingualism, both French & English (written & spoken)

Education:BS or equivalent industry experience

Training:In house training, however technical or Industrial product knowledge an asset

Overnight Travel:30% overnight travel is required

Years’ of experience:5+ years B2B sales experience needed

Other requirements:

Transferable Knowledge: Knowledge of manufacturing, food, pulp and paper or waste water industries would be an asset
