Company Profile:

Our client is a leading national food broker currently expanding their business in the Quebec Province. The chosen candidate will be responsible for driving end user sales through their network of major food distributors.


Make sales presentations to new and existing foodservice chain accounts and independents with a minimum of 4 sales calls per day: - Provide excellent product representation of all Principals.
Prepare and negotiate contracts and programs with key accounts: - Maximize sales potential with all Principals’ products at all accounts; - Participate at various distributor and food related trade shows; - Develop and maintain strong business relationships with all accounts.
Participate in various product demonstrations and in-house promotions both at the distributor and end-user levels: - Input all call reports on a daily basis; - Prepare and submit to the Sales Manager a monthly planner outlining territory coverage for the upcoming months (ensuring a balanced coverage).
Prioritize daily schedule and ensure that any distributor sales rep leads are responded to immediately: - Maintain and strive to reach sales and budget projections to maintain good KPI's; - Report into head office at least 3 times a day to retrieve messages.

Job Requirements:

Academic Post secondary education with a college or university diploma / or equivalent experience
Languages Bilingualism, both French & English (written & spoken)
Experience 4 to 5 years sales experience for a foodservice broker or distributor
  Positive attitude towards life, work and people - Able to work independently - A self-starter, eager to learn, highly motivated - Outgoing and mature - Results oriented & ability to multi-task - Professional appearance & manner
