Our customer is a distributor and manufacturer and is the Canadian leader in industrial hardware.
As a sales representative, you will meet and exceed the sales objectives in an assigned territory; you will be responsible of cultivating relationships with some existing customers and also responsible to develop new business with OEM's (manufacturer) and industrial.
Territory: Province of Quebec
Work Place: North shore of Montreal
Products/Services: Industrial hardware
Annual commissions: $25,000
Car allowance: $550.00 per month plus gas card
Expenses reimbursement: Blackberry provided.
Benefits package after 3 months of start date.
Collective RRSP after 6 months.
Two (2) weeks of vacation plus 1 week between Christmas and
New Year (company closed).
Maintain existing customer base via the CRM and provide sales reports when needed.
Assist and participate to sales meetings, maintain productive relationships with your peers at key accounts, national accounts and enterprise accounts
Stay abreast of market demands and questions and offers from competition, leverage its knowledge to contribute to the development of sales campaigns to customers
Meet or exceed sales targets for assigned accounts business by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders and decision makers in the customer's business
Press the profitability and efficiency of the customer with customized solutions, sell all product lines while leveraging components of pricing to ensure they have profitable business
Keep education client meetings and product information to ensure that the customer knows what products are available.
Acting as a link between customers and branches assigned to help resolve problems, as needed (accounts receivable, billing and service).
Development vs Maintenance: 50% VS 50%
Road vs Office: 90% vs 10%
Languages: Bilingualism, both French & English (written & spoken)
Education: College diploma.
Training: Intensive two (2) months training, inside the office, order desk and on the road with other Sales Representatives.
Overnight Travel: Weekly travelling to cover accounts in the assigned territory.
Years’ of experience:
5 to 7 years experience in B2B sales, preferable in industrial markets and/or OEM market
3 to 5 years of proven territory management
Developed customers relationships, identifies business opportunities, resolve problems in a timely manner, keep and grow business
The ideal candidate must be energetic and professional with superior communication skills.
Good interpersonal skills.

Collaboration / team player.
Knowledge in time management and territory management in order to concentrate on selling activities
Transferable contacts: knowledge of industrial markets and OEM market
Great negotiation skills, and capable of promoting dcision making
Capable of collaborating; capacity of facilitating the communication with the service team in order to insure customer satisfaction and executing tasks
