Job Description:

Profile: Our client is a worldwide manufacturer of consumer products and they are looking for a sales manager to manage a small team of inside and outside sales who sell directly to the consumer. You are working primarily from an office environment. Your role is to coach lead, motivate and develop your people.

Products/Services: Equipment sold to consumers

Salary: Base $65,000

Commissions/Bonus: Comp plan being developed

Car allowance: N/A

  • Manage a team of inside and 1 outside rep
  • Coach them on activity with the use of CRM
  • Communicate daily goals with inside and outside sales
  • Keep undated reports for National Sales Manager
  • Interview, hire and train employees
  • Direct and carry out performance improvement as needed
  • Maintain high performance by coaching

Job Requirements:


Development vs Maintenance: 100% vs 0%

Road vs Office:5% vs 95%


Education: College degree or equivalent experience

Training: Initial training 2 weeks intensive in Toronto then ongoing and regular

Overnight Travel: Very little overnight travel other than for  training

Years’ of experience: 2 to 3 years managing people preferably selling to consumers

Other requirements:Capacity for listening, strong coach, strong motivator
