Job Description:


Our client is a national food broker who is looking to hire a regional sales manager who will manage a small team of sales people as well as a territory.  Your role will be to sell (80% of your time) to distributors and key accounts and manage (20%) the sales people by coaching and providing guidance. Car allowance: $1,000 per month

  • Prioritize daily schedule and ensure that any distributor sales rep leads are responded to immediately:
  • Maintain and strive to reach sales and budget projections to maintain good KPI's
  • Coach and mentor sales team
  • Make sales presentations to new and existing food-service distributors:
  • Provide excellent product representation of all Principals
  • Prepare and negotiate contracts/programs with key accounts

Job Requirements:


Development vs Maintenance: 30% vs 70%

Road vs Office: 60% vs 40%

Languages: Full bilingualism

Education: College degree or equivalent

Training: Training program available but must come from the industry

Overnight Travel: Less than 15% overnight travel required

Years’ of experience: 5+ years of experience in food services

Other requirements:  You have a track record of solid leadership and mentor ship

Transferable contacts: Contacts within major food distributors and key end user accounts is necessary

Transferable Knowledge:

  • You are used to working independently  
  • You have strong work ethic
  • You are passionate about sales
