Job Description:

Profile: Our client is a manufacturer of instrumentation (gauges, sensors and flow meters) used by industry. This senior sales rep position is to take care of existing customers and find new clients. The person should be technical enough to sell and represent to engineering firms technical end-users. Please provide your resume in English.

Commissions/Bonus: $10,000 quarterly based on results

Car allowance: Vehicle and gas card provided

  • Communicate new products to existing customer base
  • Grow revenue base
  • Research and develop new customers
  • Assist inside sales team with quotes and problem solving
  • Resolve customer complaints
  • Prepare and submit activity reports via CRM
  • Uphold activity KPIs discussed with sales manager
  • Maintain healthy funnel as determined by company standards

Job Requirements:

Development vs Maintenance: 30% vs 70%

Road vs Office: 60% vs 40%

Languages: French and English

Education: Electrical or Instrumentation technologist or equivalent experience

Training: Extensive training in Toronto and in field

Overnight Travel: less than 10% overnight

Years’ of experience: 5+ years of equivalent experience needed

Other requirements:

  • You have experience selling to end-users
  • You have a successful, provable  track record in sales
  • You are not a job-jumper
  • You are humble
