Job Description:

Profile: Our client provides medium and large enterprises with Microsoft infrastructure products and services. We are looking for a business development manager to hunt for new business. The person that we seek is adept at building strategies for project-based opportunities. You will keep a healthy balance of short, mid-term and long-term opportunities in your funnel.

Territory: Montreal and global

Work Place: Montreal

Products/Services: Microsoft infrastructure products and services  

Salary: Base $80,000-$100,000

Commissions/Bonus: $80,000-$100,000 (paid monthly)

Car allowance: $0.48/km

Expenses reimbursement: All expenses reimbursed

  • Find and develop Microsoft based projects
  • Validate feasibility  with technical team  
  • Prospects using a variety of methods ie cold calling, contacts, trade shows etc
  • Maintain a healthy funnel of short, mid and long-term opportunities
  • Input client opportunities with stages into CRM
  • Build portfolio of profitable business
  • Communicate and share account strategies with VP Sales

Job Requirements:


Development vs Maintenance: 70% vs 30%

Road vs Office: 50% vs 50%

Languages: Fully bilingual

Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience needed

Training: Full and thorough training provided

Overnight Travel: 10-20% overnight travel

Years’ of experience: 5+ years of successfully selling project-based products and services

Other requirements: mature, proven track record

Transferable contacts:  Senior IT contacts within mid and large companies would be a huge asset

Transferable Knowledge:  Knowledge of selling into C suite
