Job Description:

Profile: Our client manufactures and distributes food ingredients and packaging equipment and is looking for an account manager to take over an existing base of customers in Quebec and drive new business. You are creative and curious and will help your customers with custom flavours and recipes. Please provide your resume in English.

Work Place: Home Office

Products/Services: Food ingredients and packaging equipment

Salary: Base $50,000-$70,000

Commissions/Bonus: $30,000 annually (paid monthly)

Car allowance: $500 per month

Expenses reimbursement: All expenses reimbursed

Job Requirements:


Development vs Maintenance: 30% vs 70%

Road vs Office: 70% vs 30%

Languages: French and English

Education: College degree or equivalent experience

Training: Training provided on the job but must have relevant experience

Overnight Travel: Less than 15% overnight travel required

Years’ of experience: 5 years' equivalent experience required

Other requirements: Self-motivated, patient, you like a high amount of sales activities

Transferable contacts: Previous experience having sold to the meat, cheese and/or vegan industries is a plus

Transferable Knowledge: Knowledge of the food ingredients industry is big asset
