Job Description:

Profile: Our client is in the industrial packaging sector and is looking for a sales representative to manage and sell in the Montreal and the surrounding territory. Your role will be to increase sales, manage existing and dormant  accounts and develop new accounts. You must have sold in a commercial and industrial packaging market and have a good understanding of the manufacturing industry.

Territory: Montreal and surroundings

Work Place: Montreal but occasional work from home

Products/Services: Industrial packaging

Salary: Base $60,000

Commissions/Bonus: $10 000

Car allowance:$500/month + $/KM

Expenses reimbursement: Cell phone allowance

Maintain and develop business relationships with existing customers and prospects

Achieve predetermined sales targets with acceptable margin

Generate quotas that meet customer and organizational requirements

Manage customer issues and  resolve complaints to their satisfaction

Provide a high level of service to your customers

Report sales activity and follow-up with several internal departments to improve packaging solutions

Responsible for cross-selling, increase sales and  GP  within existing accounts and develop new accounts

Develop and implement action plans in order to optimize sales and provide complete adapted solutions   to clients need

Development vs Maintenance: 70% vs 30%

Road vs Office: 70% vs 30%

Languages: Bilingualism required

Education: Post-secondary education

Training: Full and complete training which also includes online

Overnight Travel: Very little overnight travel required

Years of experience: 3-5 years B2B customers in the packaging

industry

Other requirements:

You are excellent at developing relationships with existing customers and prospects as well

You are strategic and relationnal

You have a hunter mentality

Transferable contacts: Contacts within the industry would be an asset

Transferable Knowledge: Well versed in MS Office applications
