Company Profile:

Our client is a distributor of industrial supplies and maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) supplies. We are looking for a territory manager who will systematically meet all clients in the territory and develop new ones. You will be proactive, energetic, willing to learn and will manage the territory as your own business.

Functions:

Manage sales activities for specific assigned territory Proactively visit existing and prospective clients -Responds to requests, inquires and complaints and ensures maximum good will from all transactions
Analyzes market statistics to develop sales campaigns and create sales quotas. -Ability to react to last-minute client requests -Responsible for negotiating and implementing agreements
Prepares weekly and monthly reports for management and customers. -Establishes sales objectives by creating a sales plan and quota for districts in support of national objectives
Recommends product lines by identifying new product opportunities, and/or product, packaging, and service changes; surveying consumer needs and trends; tracking competitors

Job Requirements:

Academic BS or equivalent industry experience -Technical or Industrial product knowledge an asset
Languages Bilingualism, both French & English (written & spoken)
Experience 5+ years sales experience needed
  We are looking for a go-getter -You have no problem with a high level of activity (6-8 customer visits per day) -You are self-motivated -You are not set in your ways -You are comfortable going out to make it happen rather than being an order taker -You can think on the fly -Must be able to pass a criminal, driver's abstract and education verification
