Job Description:

Profile:  Our client manufactures chemicals and coatings sold to the packaging and printing industry and is looking for an Account Manager to manage a base of customers  and to find and sell to new clients. You can navigate within many layers in a company  and across different departments. the account manager is equally responsible for growing and maintaining business. Salary: $50,000-$60,000

Commissions/Bonus: $20,000-$25,000 annually (paid quarterly)

Car allowance: Company car + gas card

Functions:

Functions:

  • Sells to accounts with multiple buying influences
  • Develop account plan strategies and identify key buying factors, stakeholders/gatekeepers and decision makers' value propositions
  • Gathers and verifies information about the customer's customer, basic market strategy, vendor expectations and the customer's competition
  • Make calls at scheduled frequencies to solicit business with individual technical groups, purchasing and/or executives who influence purchasing
  • Meet or exceed budgeted targets by generating new business opportunities and building sales, profits, margins of their existing account base.

Languages: Bilingualism required

Education: Bachelor's degree in chemistry or Business Management helpful

Training: On the job training provided

Overnight Travel: No overnight travel other than training

Years’ of experience: 5 years demonstrated sales experience in printing industry or related sales experience needed

Other requirements: You have taken value selling courses and can demonstrate the effectiveness of taking these courses through their sales efforts.

  • Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite necessary
  • Strong forecasting ability
  • Ability to create strong sales plans and call strategies
