Job Description:

Profile: Our client provides IT products and services to medium and large sized companies and is in search of an effective new business rep. Your role will be to use different prospection methods to expand the customer base. You will use social selling, cold calling, referrals and your contacts to understand customer needs and relay that back to what we sell. We are looking for a solutions sales rep who can understand the customers' environment and come up with creative, tailor-made solutions.

Territory: Montreal and surroundings

Salary: Base $75,000

Commissions/Bonus: $75,000 at 100% of plan

Car allowance: 0.48$/km

Expenses reimbursement: All reasonable expenses reimbursed

Functions:

  • Find and develop prospects suitable for our products and services
  • Use social selling, cold calling, trade shows and your contacts to identify prospects
  • Validate that these prospects fall into our "sweet spot"
  • Develop a healthy funnel based on our criteria
  • Engage internal support on your projects which includes upper management
  • Articulate account strategy with VP sales
  • Populate CRM with pertinent information on your accounts
  • Regularly attain and/or surpass your quota

Development vs Maintenance: 70% vs 30%

Road vs Office: 50% vs 50%

Languages: Fully bilingual

Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience needed

Training: Full and thorough training provided

Overnight Travel: 10-20% overnight travel

Years’ of experience: 5+ years of successfully selling project-based products and services

Other requirements: mature, proven track record

Transferable contacts:  Senior IT contacts within mid and large companies would be a huge asset

Transferable Knowledge:  Knowledge of selling into C suite
