Job Description:

Profile: Our client is a heavy transport broker and is  looking for a sales rep to join their team. This 100% business development role is for someone who is creative  with a strong hunter mentality. You must have a proven track record in business development.

Territory: Open

Work Place: North Shore (Home office)

Products/Services: Transport broker

Salary: $50 000

Commissions/Bonus:$10 000 to $15 000 (uncapped commissions)

Car allowance:$/KM

Expenses reimbursement: All reasonable expenses reimbursed

Prospection of new clients and markets

Secure new relationships

Writing bids and provide quotes to the clients

Propose different transport solutions

Analyse and identify client needs

Excellent customer service

Be involved in the client file for the next year after the opening of new accounts.

Job Requirements:

Requirements:

Development vs Maintenance: 100% vs 0%

Road vs Office: 70% vs 30%

Languages: Bilingualism, both French & English (written & spoken)

Education: Post-secondary education is a must

Training: On-the-job training provided but must have industry experience

Overnight Travel: If required

Years of experience: 5 years' experience in business development on the road

Other requirements:

Has ease to establish new relationship

Ability to negotiate and communicate;

Organized, disciplined work ethic

Experience having built a territory from scratch

Transferable contacts: A book of business in transport would be a major asset

Transferable Knowledge: Knowledge of transport needs in a variety of industries
