Job Description:

Profile: Our client is a provider of industrial products such as welding, air-fittings, abrasives and shop tools to a variety of industrial accounts. We are looking for a sales rep who has sold to the same type of customer in either the north shore. Your role is to build your customer base then keep and upsell them. Territory: North shore

Work Place: Home office

Products/Services: industrial products such as welding supplies, air-fittings, abrasives and shop tools

Salary: Base $45,000- $50,000

Commissions/Bonus: $20,000 annually (paid monthly), Uncapped commissions

Car allowance: $650 per month

Expenses reimbursement: All reasonable expenses reimbursed

  • Attain and surpass revenue targets within defined territory
  • Follow a disciplined schedule of visits and calls
  • Develop detailed strategies and objectives to achieve company's revenue goals
  • Accurately forecast new product sales and revenue
  • Submit weekly call reports to Sales Manager
  • Work hand in hand with Sales Manager on strategic plan  on key accounts  
  • Develop bi-annual business reviews with key accounts

Job Requirements:


Development vs Maintenance: 80% vs 20%

Road vs Office: 80% vs 20%

Languages: French and English

Education: College degree or equivalent work experience

Training: On the job training (must have previous experience selling to industrial accounts)

Overnight Travel: Less than 15% overnight travel required

Years’ of experience:  1 to 3 years outside sales experience within the North Shore territory(direct to end users)

Other requirements: You're a go-getter, autonomous and self-motivated

Transferable contacts: Has contacts within their territory

Transferable Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of how to approach and sell to industrial accounts needed
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Ability to communicate across multiple departments within the company to achieve desired company results.
