Job Description:

Profile: We are looking for a dynamic self-starter to work as an appointment setter with a senior business development rep in IT and professional managed services. You two will work hand in hand to open doors and close business. This is a newly created position, so you get to put your twist on it as long as you are making the appointments. This position is downtown and connected to the  McGill metro so forget the traffic headaches. The person that we are looking for is professional, knowledgeable and tenacious.  

Territory: Quebec and Ontario

Work Place: Montreal (downtown)

Products/Services: IT and professional managed services

Salary: $45,000 to $60,000

Commissions/Bonus: $10,000 annually (paid monthly and based on objectives

Car allowance: N/A

Expenses reimbursement: N/A

  • Create leads based on marketing lists
  • Find and document decision  makers
  • Document contacts with title and contact information in CRM
  • Make first contact with prospects
  • Qualify through discovery
  • Book appointments for business development  rep
  • Brief rep about progress
  • Follow up on all leads from website/marketing lists and trade shows
  • Document all activities through CRM
  • Follow up with business development rep on progress
  • Meet and exceed appointment quotas given

Job Requirements:


Development vs Maintenance: 100% development

Road vs Office: 0% vs 100%

Languages: French and English

Education: College degree or equivalent experience

Training: On the job training given

Overnight Travel: None

Years’ of experience: 3 + years in a similar position required

Other requirements:

  • Great oral communication skills in both languages
  • You are meticulous and organized
  • You have a team mentality
  • You are disciplined and don't need anyone breathing down your back
  • You are courteous and not pushy
