Job Description:

Profile: Our client is one of the leaders in the cutting tools industry and has a newly created territory sales position for the province of Quebec for someone from the industry. You will be joining a fast-paced company that rewards their people. You will benefit from excellent and detailed training and be in charge of the province of Quebec and the aerospace industry. Must be able to pass a background check and please provide your resume in English.

Territory: Province of Quebec

Work Place: Home Office

Products/Services: Cutting tools and services

Salary: Base $72,000

Commissions/Bonus: $10,000 per quarter heavily weighted on new sales

Car allowance: Vehicle provided + gas card

Expenses reimbursement: All expenses reimbursed

Functions:

Functions:

  • Find and develop new accounts primarily within the aerospace industry
  • Call on ex-customers
  • Call on existing customers and grow them
  • Manage growth projects
  • Work with production staff and product managers as need be
  • Engage engineers to resolve any technical and commercial questions
  • Attain company set KPIs as it pertains to activity level
  • Update CRM on a regular basis

Job Requirements:

Requirements:

Development vs Maintenance: 80% vs 20%

Road vs Office: 70% vs 30%

Languages: French and English

Education: Bachelor's degree in business or engineering or equivalent experience may substitute

Training: Training provided in both Canada and the US

Overnight Travel: Less than 15% overnight travel required

Years’ of experience:

  • 3 years' selling cutting tools  
  • 3 years' in a consultative sales approach

Other requirements: You  can function and thrive in a fast-paced environment

Transferable contacts: Experience selling into the aerospace industry is an asset

Transferable Knowledge:

  • Experience selling PVD coating and surface treatments preferred
