Our customer, a distributor of warehouse equipment (boxes, shelving units, packaging equipment,..), has been firmly anchored in Quebec. It distributes high quality North-American products within Canada which ensures that their customers invest in the best possible equipment. The role of the business development manager is to be responsible for all new sales in organisation of 100 and more employees. The business development manager is building his customer list and insure to maintain relationships with his signed accounts.

Functions:

- Present and sell company products and services to potential clients. List of names of lost and target accounts will be provided - Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and to project the number of contacts to be made.
- Prepare presentations, proposals and sales contracts. - Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships.
- Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity. - Coordinate company staff to accomplish the work required to close sales.
- Prepare a variety of status reports, including activity, closings, follow-up, and adherence to goals. - Insure pipeline is meeting the amount of activities needed to reach sales objectives

Job Requirements:

Academic Minimum education of a DEC.
Languages Bilingualism, both French & English (written & spoken)
Experience - Minimum of 2 to 5 years in sales (Distribution sales is an asset) - Proven track record.
