Job Description:

Profile: Our client is a well-known company who sells instrumentation equipment to companies. Because they are expanding, they are looking to hire someone who is excellent in keeping and upselling into a base of customers. You will spend about 75% of your time ensure that your 75+ clients have their questions answered, sell new products and be in front of your clients regularly. The successful rep will also deal with engineering firms to ensure that our products are specified and will work regularly with the inside sales team for quotes.

Territory:Eastern Ontario and   Western Quebec

Work Place: St Laurent

Products/Services: Instrumentation products

Salary: $40,000- $60,000

Commissions/Bonus: $20,000 total ($10,000 based on growth + $10,000 based on company performance)

Car allowance: $750/month + gas card

Expenses reimbursement: All reasonable expenses reimbursed

  • Provide technical expertise
  • Promote our products to both end-users and engineering firms to get our products specified

  • Be face to face with clients regularly
  • Work directly with sales managers in field
  • Regularly update CRM

Job Requirements:

Requirements:

Development vs Maintenance: 25% vs 75%

Road vs Office: 80% vs 20%

Languages: French and English

Education: College degree or equivalent experience

Training: Given both locally and in the US

Overnight Travel: 1-2 days per month of overnight travel

Years’ of experience: At least 3 years' relevant sales experience

Other requirements: Experience either as a territory rep or technical rep required

Transferable contacts: N/A

Transferable Knowledge:

  • If you know-process control, flow meters, pressure detection, valves or fittings, this is an asset
  • If you have sold into manufacturing, pharma, municipalities, chemical plants, metals or mining, this would be an asset
