Job Description:

Title: Director of Sales and Marketing-IT services
Territory: Quebec and Ontario
Work place: Montreal
Profile: Our client is a well know supplier of IT services, specifically global managed services. They are searching for a Sales and Marketing Director to build and manage a team that will target mid-sized accounts in Montreal and Toronto. You will also have responsibility for marketing. You will work closely with the CTO to build, market and sell packaged managed service offerings.
Products/Services: Global managed services
Salary: 110,000.00$ - 130,000.00$
Commissions and bonus: $27,500 per quarter
Car allowance: Km reimbursement or car allowance
Expenses Reimbursement: Expenses reimbursed as per company policy
All reasonable expenses reimbursed
Public relations expenses: All travel related expenses reimbursed

Development vs Maintenance: 90% vs 10%
Road vs Office: 60% vs 40%

Education: Bachelor's degree preferred

Number of years sales experience: 5 years' sales management experience needed in a similar field with demonstrated success
Other requirements:  
Very hands manager ie is in field coaching with reps
Strong leader who also has a well-developed marketing sense
Strong in pipeline management
Has sold successfully to the small and medium sized community
Is comfortable with a sales cycle of 3 to 6 months
Transferable contacts:
Experience selling to IT managers
Experience selling to small and medium sized businesses
Transferable knowledge:
Previous supervisory or management experience in sales, marketing and IT industry is required.  
Experience in developing marketing and sales strategies
A strong network of contacts
Great time management skills

Achieves marketing and sales operational objectives by contributing marketing and sales information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans

Accomplishes marketing and sales objectives by planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating advertising, merchandising, and trade promotion programs; developing field sales action plans.  

Identifies marketing opportunities by identifying consumer requirements; defining market, competitor's share, and competitor's strengths and weaknesses; forecasting projected business; establishing targeted market share

Provides information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends
