Job Description:

Profile:  We are looking for a creative and determined Sales & Marketing Coordinator, passionate about the cosmetics industry, for our client, a distributor of “avant-garde” cosmetics. Your role will be to support the inside sales team, to develop marketing and advertising strategies, and to manage social media content. You will devote 60% of your time on building marketing strategies, new product launch, branding and ensure all aspects of public events and 40% of your time will be dedicated to support the inside sales team, by reaching a daily quota of outbound calls, working with the channel partners, qualifying prospects and closing sales with base and new customers. As a brand ambassador you’ll maintain a professional image, and be curious about the industry best practices, in order to meet sales target objectives for the company.

Territory: Canada & US

Products/Services: Cosmetics and beauty products

Salary: $40,000 (base)

Commissions/Bonus: $4,000 annually based on preset company and individual objectives

  • Complete daily marketing tasks and coordinate projects
  • Establish a marketing strategy based on continuous analysis of customer's behavior and best practice on the market
  • Ensure all aspects of conferences and trade shows
  • Support marketing and advertising campaigns through various online communication channels
  • Promotion of new product launch
  • Translation from English to French
  • Create social media content and promote the brand image.
  • Plan and execute sales strategies to attain the objectives
  • Qualify new prospects, build strong business relationships with base and new customers
  • Promote, sell and secure orders
  • Keep great and accurate records into the computer system
  • Generate timely and precise report for the management team
  • Weekly visits to clients

Job Requirements:


Development vs Maintenance: 60% Marketing and 40% Inside sales

Road vs Office: 5% vs  95%

Languages: French and English (fully bilingual), third language is considered an asset

Education: Post-secondary education in Marketing is a must

Training: On-the-job training provided

Overnight Travel:  From time to time there are trade shows to attend and the company pays for all expenses outside of the province

Years of experience: 2 years of experience in sales and marketing is a must

Other requirements:

  • Excellent written and oral skills are a must
  • Positive attitude is a must  
  • Experience in the cosmetics & beauty industry is an asset
  • You have a valid drivers’ licence

Transferable Knowledge:  

  • Dexterity with computer software (Microsoft Office, Salesforce, Photoshop, QuickBooks and Mailchimp)
  • You must be able to  multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively.
