Job Description:

Profile: Our client; the maker of lubricants is looking for a territory manager in Montreal due to expansion. The role of the territory manager is to grow market share. You will sell to all sizes of clients as well as end users and distributors.This role requires someone with a working knowledge of the industry. Please submit your resume in English.

Territory: Montreal and surroundings

Work Place: Home office

Products/Services: Lubricants, oil etc

Salary: Base $60,000-$70,000

Commissions/Bonus: $25,000 (paid quarterly)

Car allowance: km reimbursement

Expenses reimbursement: all reasonable expenses reimbursed

  • Gain market share through new and existing customer base
  • Perform a high degree of visits on a regular basis
  • Uncover new opportunities  
  • Negotiate agreements with potential distributors
  • Work hand in hand with distributors on tender opportunities
  • Manage and develop a healthy pipeline as per company guidelines
  • Promote high margin and high value products
  • Submit regular reports on progress and use company CRM regularly

Development vs Maintenance: 80% vs 20%

Road vs Office:80% vs 20%

Languages: French and English

Education: Bachelor's degree of equivalent experience required

Training: Extensive training provided on our methodology

Overnight Travel: Less than 10% overnight travel

Years’ of experience: 5 years' b2b industry experience

Other requirements: Must be able to pass a criminal and credit check

Transferable contacts: You have sold to industrial, commercial and distributor accounts
