Job Description:

Profile: Our client is in the construction industry and due to growth is looking for a corporate recruiter.   Your role will be to identify, interview, hire and onboard new employees. These employees range from sales, marketing, customer service and construction personnel.

Territory: Province of Quebec

Work Place: Laval

Products/Services: Construction services

Salary: $50,000-$70,000

Commissions/Bonus: N/A

  • Proactively recruit people for sales, service, office, professional and field positions
  • Screen via phone and email
  • Conduct both phone and face to face interviews
  • Follow up on all applications
  • Assist in all aspects with the hiring manager
  • Work with the different department heads to understand their needs
  • Assist with on-boarding program
  • Assist with employee development and training programs
  • Support other members of the HR department

Languages: French and English

Education: Bachelor's degree in HR or related field

Training: On the job training provided

Overnight Travel: Perhaps travel to the US to collaborate with our head office

Years’ of experience: 3-5 years of successful recruiting experience needed

  • You have strength in social media
  • You are highly organized
  • You are detail-oriented
  • You are well versed in different recruiting technology
  • Great computer skills especially in Microsoft Office
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check
