Job Description:

Profile: Our client sells services and products to health professionals and is looking for an account manager whose role it will be to identify new opportunities and some base management. This position requires a collaboration with your major account manager. You will grow and maintain the base of customers assigned to you. This is a hunting role and requires a strong entrepreneurial mindset. The ideal candidate is familiar with the healthcare and pharmaceutical sector and will and can communicate professionally with them.

Territory: Montreal and surroundings

Work Place: Home based

Products/Services:  Medical services and products

Salary: $55,000- $65,000

Commissions/Bonus: $40, 000-$56, 000

Car allowance: $/KM

  • Maintain company standard for # of calls and contacts within customer base
  • Drive renewal business in assigned accounts
  • Proactively call on prospects
  • Submit proposals using our templates
  • Follow up on proposals
  • Update CRM weekly
  • Meet with manager weekly to go over #'s

Job Requirements:


Development vs Maintenance: 75% vs 25%

Road vs Office: 30% vs 70%

Languages: French and English

Education:Bachelor's degree in science or business but willing to look at industry experience in the absence of a degree

Training: Full and complete training provided

Overnight Travel: No overnight travel required

Years’ of experience: 3-5 years in health care industry-related role

Other requirements: Strong business  development  skills

Transferable contacts: N/A

Transferable Knowledge:

  • Experience in pharma is an asset
  • Scientific knowledge/understanding is ncessary
