Job Description:

Profile: Our client provides IT consulting services to companies globally. We are looking for a strong business development rep who can prospect and develop accounts. Your role will be to sell professional services, consulting, business process and IT services to C level. You have a track record of success, are self-motivated and understand the market.

Territory: Vertical (travel and transport)

Work Place: Montreal

Salary: Base $120,000-$140,000

Commissions/Bonus: $40,000 annually

  • Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets as set forth by company
  • Maintain a healthy funnel of qualified prospects
  • Personally develop accounts within your vertical territory
  • Manage the sales process from beginning to end
  • Implicate the right resources when necessary
  • Work in close collaboration with pre-sales team and delivery teams
  • Develop alliances with partners to collaborate on projects

Development vs Maintenance: 90% vs 10%

Road vs Office: 50% vs 50%

Languages: French and English

Education: Bachelor's degree preferred

Training: On the job

Overnight Travel: Up to 20% overnight travel

Years’ of experience: At least 5-7 years industry experience

Other requirements: Go-getter, Track record of success

Transferable contacts: Has sold to C level and IT professionals

Transferable Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of the local market
  • Understanding of RFI and RFP process
  • Understanding of sales process and customer decision making process
