Our client is a distributor of telecommunications equipment used by wholesale customers across Canada. Coupled with the equipment, they wrap their professional services around that to provide a comprehensive integrated solution to carriers and telcos.They are in search of a National Director who will manage a team of product specialists who work hand in hand with the sales team to develop sales opportunities along product lines. This is a sales position and the director will work with the National Sales Manager and their team spread out across Canada.

Functions:

Meet or exceed monthly set quotas in revenue
Meet or exceed monthly set quotas across product lines
Collaborate with National Sales Manager to develop leads from sales people
Deliver monthly sales forecasts and reports as outlined by Sales VP
Proactively sell our products and services to qualified businesses
Participate in the setting of the business plan across territories and product lines
Develop business plans and product positioning in the marketplace.
Develops, tracks, and analyzes effectiveness of offers

Job Requirements:

Academic University degree or equivalent work experience needed
Languages Bilingualism, both French & English (written & spoken)
Experience A minimum of 5 years as a sales manager in a technical role required
  Must be well versed in Telecom technologies.?
Detailed understanding of network infrastructure technology sales
Must be comfortable presenting solutions ROI to C-level management.?
Excellent verbal, written and people skills.?
Detail and accuracy a must.?
Must demonstrate consultative selling and closing skills with proven success in developing new Carrier/?Wholesale accounts.?
