Job Description:

Profile: Our client sells constructions services to excavators, municipalities, engineering and insurance firms and to various other companies. We are looking for a Sales Manager who will have a hybrid role; sell and manage employees. The person we seek can make a technical sale in around construction services and has managed people as well. the role is to spend 50% of your time meeting existing clients and the balance prospecting and responding to RFP's and inbound requests. This role requires someone who has a high level of influence;people want to follow and work with you.

Territory: Montreal and surroundings

Salary: $80,000-$100,000

Commissions/Bonus: 20% on base (based on individual and corporate objectives)

Car allowance: $0.45/km

Expenses reimbursement: All expenses reimbursed

  • Participate and shape RFPs before they come out
  • Meet with existing clients on a weekly basis
  • Make sales and follow up with your team from start to finish
  • Participate in networking events to get the company name out there
  • Have weekly meetings with your staff to follow up on the different projects
  • Prepare timely reports on pipeline progress
  • Help shape company culture
  • Work closely with operations to follow through on sales made
  • Make and exceed company objectives
  • be the voice and face of the company in your territory

Job Requirements:

Development vs Maintenance: 50% vs 50%

Road vs Office: 80% vs 20%

Languages: French and English (bilingualism required)

Education: bachelor's degree or equivalent experience needed

Training: On the job training provided

Overnight Travel: Less than 20% overnight travel required

Years’ of experience: 8-10 years experience with at least 3 years management experience required

Other requirements:   You have great people management skills and have worked in an environment of change and transformation
