Our client is a provider of petroleum to transport companies and is looking for and is looking for a sales representative who will spend about 80% of their time calling on new prospects; any company that has a fleet of trucks.


Build profitable business by identifying and selling petroleum to new prospective clients in the Transportation & Construction related market segments, while achieving/exceeding aggressive sales targets -Utilize time to maximize productivity and achieve sales activity standards throughout all stages of the sales cycle, including: prospecting, qualifying, presenting, closing and post sale activities
Analyze new client business needs and identify selling points/value proposition -Conduct a monthly review of new business with direct report and highlight the actual vs expected client performance
Analyze the territory’s potential via market research to determine the value of existing and prospective clients to the organization -Evaluate competitive sales activities and prepare strategies and tactics to counter the effectiveness of present and emerging competitors
Provide market information feedback to management on an on-going basis -Keep abreast of evolving industry updates/changes and, where possible, participate in organization and/or associate events that directly impact our core markets

Job Requirements:

Academic Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Commerce is an asset
Languages Bilingualism, both French & English (written & spoken)
Experience Minimum five years of territory sales experience
  A self-sufficient professional who has worked from a home office in an environment where there is minimal and/or remote administrative support -Experience in an environment that required all aspects of the sales cycle to be completed by yourself; from cold calling (lead generation) to post client care initiatives -Proven track record of highly effective cold calling techniques resulting in consistently exceeding sales objectives -Excellent interpersonal, listening and communication skills
