Company Profile:

Our client is a distributor of surge protection equipment for power supplies and IT networks. They also sell lightning protection to companies in the energy, oil, gas, telecom and traffic industries. Our client is looking for someone to build business in the province of Quebec. You must have a solid electrical background.

Functions:

Prospect and identify business opportunities, conduct analysis and present and close solutions sales to targeted accounts
Perform a minimum of 40 face-to-face customer meetings per month
Enter daily, weekly and monthly information accurately and in a timely manner into our system
Development of sales plans, marketing plans and sales forecasting for new and existing customers, products.
Ongoing market analysis and preparation of territorial intelligence regarding local activities, regulations, competitors and customers
Introduce new products and/or programs to customers
Participate in product trade shows and national shows with customers
Deliveryour personal target of key-results monthly, quarterly and yearly

Job Requirements:

Academic Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, engineering or related area is required or equivalent work experience *Electrical knowledge needed
Languages Bilingualism, both French & English (written & spoken)
Experience 1-2 years of business-to-business sales experience in an Outside sales role is essential
  Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Self starter and ability to work alone with little supervision
Excellent written and oral skills required
Valid driver’s license, good driving record, their own vehicle, and ability to travel within the territory of the Province of Quebec
