Job Description:

Profile: Our client is a leading manufacturer in the safety equipment industry and he's looking for an inside sales representative for their south-shore office. Your role will be to open doors and close the sales into the industrial accounts by contacting the Health and Safety and/or the Human Resources managers within the companies. You are a hunter who can manage long sales cycle.

Territory: Ontario

Salary: $ 45,000 - $ 55,000 base

Commissions/Bonus: A guaranteed bonus of $ 5,000, and a Commission plan to be determined with the manager

Car allowance: N/A

Expenses reimbursement: All reasonable business expenses will be reimbursed

Functions:

Functions:

  • From the Longueuil office, target potential clients and develop new accounts,  mainly in the province of Ontario;
  • Contact and serve existing or potential industrial customers, either by telephone, email and / or video conference;
  • Establish contacts and maintain good relations with Ontario customers;
  • Advise and assist clients in their problems and difficulties;
  • Present the range of our products;
  • Send samples and do the required follow ups;
  • Participate in sales meetings, conventions and exhibitions;
  • Collaborate to the improvement of our products and service;
  • Prepare and submit special reports on trends and competition;
  • Submit weekly sales efforts tracking reports;
  • Take care of special orders.

Requirements:

Development vs Maintenance (%): 90% vs 10%

Road vs Office (%): 100% office

Languages: English

Education: Post-secondary diploma

Training: 2 weeks of detailed training and ongoing

Overnight Travel: N/A

Years’ of experience: 3-5 years of experiences in sales

Other requirements:

A successful business development tracking record

Perfect English communication both written and oral, French will be considered an asset

Excellent time management skills

Working within a CRM (ACT is preferred)

Transferable contacts: Having sold to H&S or HR Manager

Transferable Knowledge:  Industrial sales experience
