Functions:

Under the supervision of the Area Vice President; Plan, organize and monitor various sales activities of the Sales Region to achieve sales and profit objectives.
Major Responsibilities:
Integration of Business Unit programs, Marketing programs and other resources into field activities.
Identify Small and Large Market sales opportunities, develop plans, and strategies to exploit these opportunities and ensure their implementation.
Provide forum or channel for recommendations from all Account Manager to help grow the sales and profit of the Region.
Monitor the specific activities of the District Sales Managers to ensure that they are maximizing the sales opportunities in their territories.
Monitor professional development/sales training activities of sales managers so that they can effectively manage and motivate Account Manager to exceed sales objectives.
Prepare a sales budget (reserve & expenses) and monitor the actual performance against this budget on a monthly basis.
Oversee succession planning process for the region.
Execute acquisition integration as applicable.

Job Requirements:

Academic A university degree in Business, Commerce, or Communication.
Languages English written & spoken is essential, French is an asset.
Experience A minimum of 5 to 8 years experience managing large volumes of sales regions/teams.
