Company Profile:

Our client is a distributor of loading dock equipment. They sell and install their products across Quebec.


The Equipment representative will be in charge of the territory located North of Autoroute 40 and East of Autoroute 15, including Trois-Rivières and Shawinigan.
Ensures an effective prospection of his/her territory and will show shrewdness to evaluate prospective customers for the purchase of products and service.
Responsible for identifying potential clients and following through rigorously with the sales cycle.
Is responsible for ensuring the existing customer base is well looked afterand prospected for further opportunities that correspond to their needs.
The candidate is responsible for making presentations that are tailor made to the audience by using the computer software tools at their disposal.
As a sales professional, he/she will be differentiate our product offerring by knowing the competition's products and the specific customer application and proposing our value added products.
Will work with 3rd parties such as architects to ensure their knowledge of our products.
Responsible for attaining quota while respecting the company's ethics and pricing policy
Responsable for the sales process from prospection, determining the client's needs, making the offer, following-up, closing the sale, writing the work orders for all the related departments and finally overseeing installation.
Sharing information with your coworkers to enable collective selling.

Job Requirements:

Academic * College degree with suitable experience. * University degree would be considered an asset.
Languages Bilingualism, both French and English (written and spoken).
Experience Minimum 3 years of sales experience in technical products or services field.
Experience selling value-added.
  Must be a good listener in order to understand clients' needs.
Being enthusiastic, cleaver and rigorous enables him/her to help customers in choosing the right equipment when presenting the design features of the products.
Is able to stand out in a competitive environment.
Can implicate and work with all levels in the decision making process within the company.
The candidate loves a challenge and his/her sense of organization allows them manage their territory efficiently.
Autonomous but nonetheless understands the importance of teamwork with the other sales people.


Full benefits package (medical, dental vision and long-term invalidity insurance) paid 50% by the employer.
No cap on commission.
