Job Description:

Profile: Our client sells logistics outsourcing services for customers who want both storage and a workforce to handle their goods. We are looking for a business development rep who will be responsible for finding new business and negotiating those contracts. The ideal persona has sold b2b and sold services. The territory to cover is the south shore and Monteregie.

Territory: South shore & Monteregie

Work Place: South Shore

Products/Services: Logistics outsourcing

Salary: Base $60,000

Commissions/Bonus: 20% of base, overachievement brings it to 30% of base

  • Find and maintain relationships with clients who are suited for our service offering
  • Work hand in hand with sales management to qualify prospects
  • Manage sales activities in each step of the sales cycle
  • Provide and present proposals for our services
  • Maintain a healthy funnel and do regular 1 on 1's with manager  
  • Input prospects and sales activities in company CRM
  • Participate in sales conferences and industry events
  • Keep up to date on industry events
  • Keep up to date on our service offering

Job Requirements:

Development vs Maintenance: 90% vs 10%

Road vs Office: 50% vs 50%

Languages: French and English needed

Education: College degree or equivalent experience needed

Training: In-house training on our service offering provided

Overnight Travel: Very little overnight travel required

Years’ of experience: at least 5 years selling a service needed

Other requirements: Great communicator & team player needed

Transferable contacts: N/A

Transferable Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office needed
  • Knowledge of the use of a CRM
